Momentum just doesn't appear in your career as a music teacher.

Success in creating momentum in your music career has nothing to do with how many notes you can play, if you know what hemiola is, how facile you are with theory, or how fast you can play a C sharp major scale.

Music is about emotion.

Without emotion there is no momentum.

It starts with emotion.

Emotion is channeled and amplified into passion.

Passion is the fuel to learn more and more about your focus.

Your focus is melded into a system that you can count on, a system that self-perpetuates your energy level and positive mental outlook .

As more and more people witness your focused passion, they smile and support you in your goal.

True, there will be people who will see your burgeoning momentum and want you to fail, but the overwhelming majority will want to see you succeed.

Don’t let them down. Give them a reason to smile.

Find your emotion, system, focus, and passion.

Where you uncover them, you will discover momentum waiting for you, too.
